World class trombonist Wycliffe Gordon joins Cunningham presenting a musical tribute to Neal Hefti. Cunningham’s virtuosic gifts on saxophone, clarinet and flute never overshadow his expressiveness.

The fascinating liner notes written by Will Friedwald point out that this is the first recorded collection of Neal Hefti tunes since the composer´s death at the age of 85 in 2008.
