hey Adrian! thank you so much for the insperation you provided me with your visit to the Devonport jazz festival! i play clarinet tenor alto and now bari and after watching and listening to you play i went away and re-thought my technique and was able to find new solutions to old problems. i have to tell you that you have grown a huge fan base [well...for our area population lol]in our area since your visit.... i honestly have to say that when i describe your music to friends, when i describe the style, tone, emotion, technique, performance and all-round delivery of a piece there is one word that all ways comes up... Orgasmic. in-fact it is not just me but many people.... you truly left an extremely possitive impression!! anyway.. i wish you all the best for new york and coming playing and hope that some time we can meet or at least talk... i find conversation with other musos to be a very possitive tool for musical growth. All the best man! Rohan

Leslie Macedo The Basement - Feb.19th, New York Farewell.....

I sure enjoyed your energy last night,...... humour music and all........ and also your graciousness of acknowledging important people in your life. A real treat in having an opportunity to cross paths..........although not physically personally, but through love and feel of music!. Hope to hear you again before you leave. Good luck Cheers Leslie You spoke of accommodation in New York. Try The Gershwin. A great place to stay. Price is right and home to many artists. You will feel at home.... with the heating too! The hotel is located on E27th and corner of 5th Avenue. Next door to the Sex Museum Wish you all the best for New York! Try Oliva's in New York too, which is near Katz's kitchen/restaurant. Great tapas and music, even the bar next door plays great new orleans style music and you could even jam there some nights if you felt like it. Adios... :bawling:
